Each unit in the Anacortes Family Center is available for adoption by any interested group or individual.  Currently there are 7 units available.  There are 3 studios, 2-one bedroom and 2 -two bedroom units.  The activities involved in unit adoption may include:

Assisting with the cleaning and preparation of the unit between residents.

Providing cleaning supplies to assist the residents to keep the unit safe and clean.

Being first contact for replacing small household goods such as towels, sheets, small kitchen appliances, etc.

Providing small start-up supply of staple food upon entry of a new resident family.

Other activities as mutally agreed.

Anyone interested in adopting a unit should call Karen at 293-2993 ext 112 or write a brief letter indicating what size unit and what activities above, plus any others they are interested in providing and a contact person who will coordinate activities for the group or organization.  Thank you for your interest and for your support of the work being done at the Anacortes Family Center.
