Volunteers are key to the success of the Anacortes Family Center.
Here are some ways you can help us out:

Leading Life Skills: helping clients with budgeting, cooking, parenting, employment

Presenting Life Skills for Kids: assisting with art projects, music, and more

Organizing the Hub: tidying up supplies for clients

Gardening: trimming, weeding, planting

Serving as a Mentor: making a difference through YOUTHConnect​

Meeting one-on-one with clients to apply for housing or create a budget

Repairing: simple electrical needs and plumbing fixes, working on appliances and furniture, changing light bulbs and batteries

Moving: using strong arms and backs, pickup trucks on occasion

Cleaning: “turning“ our units for new clients

Childcare: giving an hour or more to help parents fully engage with their Case Manager without little ones present

Delivering: taking posters and flyers to local businesses​
